VISA Information
IEEE TENCON 2023 is a MICE event sponsored by Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB). Participants entering Thailand for TENCON 2023 will be considered as ‘Tourist’ according to the definition of Tourism Authority of Thailand Act of B.E. 2522 (1979).
Tourist visa
Foreigners entering Thailand for MICE without the purposes of being employed or working for income, but being event attendants will be regarded as tourists under the definition of Tourism Authority of Thailand Act of B.E. 2522 (1979).
Remarks - Foreigners of certain nationalities who are allowed to enter Thailand without visa or who are allowed to apply for Visa on Arrival (VoA) are able to look for information on the website of Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
VISA/Acceptance Letter
The invitation letter for VISA purpose can be retrieved from PaperCept system.
Author can login to their workspace, navigate to the ‘option’ menu and select “request an acceptance letter” as shown in the figure below:
For non-author participant, please email tencon2023@gmail.com with subject “VISA letter request” and attached the registration receipt with the email.
TENCON 2023 organizer reserves all the right to issue the VISA letter for known or registered participant only.
